The cams are in my car, but the tuning is not going so well. It seems the two are not friendly towards each other and my tuner has been having all kinds of issues. We are close. The car keeps over correcting the fuel mixture and stalls when going from open loop to closed loop. Crazy stuff. He is going to try a new MAF this week to see if there is an issue with what I have right now. Hopefully this is the problem.

yea from what I hear cams are really hard to tune, but I have faith in CR, he'll get it down! look how long it took brenspeed to get the tuning down, months!

I dang near did this combo myself....... I wanted the Thumper version from Comp Cams (rough idle, similar to the FRPP hotrod cams), but after a few weeks of asking around and talking to tuners, etc. I decided to install a set of cams from Comp Cams that are designed for twinscrew blowers. Good luck getting your cams tuned in, it will be interesting to see how they perform with the blower.

Since my last dyno I have added way too much and Tillman forgot to do a before dyno. Sorry.

 

i know i know, but i was soooo giddy in getting my shaft installed, and I was caught up with everyone else, including CR and the other that tailgated with me. like i said, your car sound sick with those cams!

 

hope you get it settled soon, cams apparently arent that popular for the 4.6, I've ony heard of a handful of people with them
