N/A isn't a budget..,

... Just looking for numbers I'd add longtubes and delete plates with a custom tune. Should put you close to that "target"

By saying "n/a", I was simply saying I dont have 5k to drop on a super charger

Definite possibility. Does anyone have the Ford Racing intake that has a tune? Is what I'm describing familiar?

Well that's why I asked your budget. Heads will cost you 2k, cams will cost you 1k, headers will cost you 1k, add a few hundred for gears, udp, delete plates, etc... and you're well past the vortec pricetag.

You gotta remember you're losing a percentage of the total engine power just moving parts. From the factory, these cars are putting about 265 of the 300 to the wheels. To get to 300 rwhp you're basically adding 40hp to the motor. To get to 350 rwhp you have to add about 100hp to the motor.

Thats true. If you follow the supposed formula my 337 rwhp comes out to 396 hp on the motor. Now wether or not the formula is totaly true is besides the point. I am happy with my car but it can always go faster ;-)
