Help! Russell SS Brake Lines

Hello,

I have installed Hawk HPS pads, SLP Line lock kit, now working on the Russell SS Brake Lines.

My problem: The old lines have a bolt, copper washer, the brake line, then another copper washer.

What do I reuse? Just the bolt? The Russell kit comes with ss washers. Or do I need the old washers? Then what are the ss washers in the kit for?

I can't seem to unscrew the copper washers off the old bolt that I need to reuse. Any thoughts?

The SS washers should replace the copper washers that came with the car. Washers are usually a single-use item. Only the bolt should be re-used.

The washers have probably mashed themselves onto the bolt threads as they were tightened.

This may be of help
