probably wouldn't do heads, 3v flow almost as good stock 4v heads according to magazine mustang and fast fords. cams are different story. it is becomes a cycle, new cams new gears, headers and probably not enough hp for the money. i'm 63 and been there done that.my 08 gt has been paid for for 3 years and was thinking about going fi but decided for the money i could get a 2013 gt with 373's for a little bit more money and have a car just as fast and new.

yea I just cheked american muscle for heads, they stated 50 hp with their 1900 heads if you get the 700 dollar cams with the heads. Whoa. I don't really ever think I will ever be able to buy a supercharger for 3500 plus so I was looking a other options. Maybe just go with the cams ...... maybe! 2k for heads is out of my budget for what you get out of them.

I honestly go back and forth in my head on this regularly. N/A vs. FI...which do I think I would like more? Then what if you hate the drive ability of the car if you go n/a. Then I just think well why not buy a 2013 for the money and the trade in...ok well then you get a new car or slightly used car but I bought this one brand new and drive it right off the show room floor so then I lose my sentimental value (which, mind you, has never been very high with most things but for some reason is very high with my car)...ahh decisions decisions

Well pretend like you never suggested to put a Chevrolet motor in a mustang... lol. But I thought I was gonna stay N/A but the bug hits way too hard. I pretty much have full bolt ons and its not enough. Once she's paid off she's gonna get either a short block or a forged rotating assembly and a huge blower. Probably a kenne bell mammoth. I wanna bang wheelies.
