Help on SCT Tuner

Hey guys, im new to the sct tuner. I just got a tune from tillman and installed it onto the hand held tuner. My question is how do i store my cars stock tune before i upload tillmans tune? Is this something it does automaticly or is it something i have to do before i upload the new tune.

Thanks

You have to allow the tuner to copy the stock tune into itself during the flash process. Only then can you back up your stock tune into your pc.

Yes the SCT tuner will start by marrying itself to your car and it does so by copying the factory tune onto itself.

Yup, jlmounce is correct. The SCT will download your stock tune to the tuner and upload Chris' tune. You can then pull a copy of the stock tune off the SCT device and save it to the media of your choice, just incase your SCT takes a crap.
