Totally your opinion. I just hope everyone else doing research on intakes realizes that this is one person's opinion and that everyone that owns one (that I know of) is totally happy with it and had zero problems out of the "cheap" intake. It was also one of the top performers in the CAI shoot out.
It is by all means not a budget intake, at least in my opinion or many others that have bought it.

is this true 25hp? at the crank maybe.. i like the design bescause it's enclosed though..
thinking of the C&L True flow with the X2 tune from babachips for 625..
or,

with the choice of either Diablosport predator, Sniper or SCT..
whats the word on either of these tuners?
as the tuner & intake is not as much as i thought, i was thinking of getting the BBK throttle body.. is this TB good for the 10rwhp as advertisded?
once again, thanks guys!

It also made the most hp when tested by sct themselves, vmp, and other tuners in the area. It may be cheaply made but they are doing something right. The diamete of the tube is larger and so is the filter.

I've read many horror stories as well with the throttle bodys, definately stay away and put your money towards something else.

chabbz192,
I know what the difference is in aftermarket cams from stock - I was installing cams when you were not even a glimmer in your daddy's eyes.
So then. what cams have you installed in these cars? please tell us...
Lets see your 40 HP gain in your dyno sheet. I bet you can not show that to us because I bet you don't even have aftermarket cams in your car.
I have never seen anyone get 40 from cams on these cars, sorry but you can try and prove the fact otherwise.
Yes, cams cost most people close to 2000 dollars.
The cams run about 1000 and then labor is 600-1000 dollars to have them installed. So that is a good chunk of change towards forced induction.
Oh, and the dealers may give you the same warranty hassle over cams as a they would a blower if the dealer is like that, In fact, they will hassle you over the CAI too. So how does installing cams and CAI better for a warranty than a blower?

I don't get a hassle for warranty repair from a CAI. Not everyone else does either. Yes with stage 3 cams and a tune with it you can see a 40 hp gain. Don't believe it contact Brent or Doug who most likely dyno'd these and seen the HP increase.

I believe juice is harder on your car than other forced induction methods and will/can cause premature engine failure more easily than the others. I'm not certain about this, but as I recall, that is the case. Perhaps the hardcore draggers can chime in on this.
