Just to chime in, SLP mufflers (Powerflo) nice, the tips are CRAP!

I went thru several pair of tips and now SLP said no more Lifetime Warranty on them. The metal at the lips on the ends of the tips were seperating.

If not the FRPP, spend the bucks and get a nice Corsa system.

lol since this thread got broguth back up again.... i asked my dealer guy who i should go to to get my performance muflers.. he told me a guy who ran the buisness out of his house

now when i pulled up if i didnt get recomended by my dealer to go there then i would have turned right around... i told him what i was lookin for and he told me had knockoff exhaust system that was much louder then slp loudmouths with a very nice sound and not to much drone

so i went back 2 weeks later after he ordered it payed $220 and got an awsome exhaust..... i got worried well watching when he was cutting the old mufflers in peices to get the new ones to fit but so far its amazing... i have now witnessed many mustang exhausts and mine is by far the favorite

fyi the place is called BlueWater Muffler

I have had mine for over a year... and to this day I still get a huge smile on my face when I step on the gas!
I second that! I love the roar mine puts out day after day. I never get tired of it.....

I reved my stock exhaust at a stoplight one day and the little chevy car in front of me (tiny car, I don't know model) squeeled it's tires when the light turned green. Although it probably wasn't the reason, I like to think I scared the little one away... lol.

Not really pertinent to the thread, but I thought I'd share because I was happy about it.

According to Pypes, the Violators are not glass-packs. It's just a straight louvered tube. Bassani's also use louvered tubes but I think they're chambered like the stock mufflers. I am unsure of how the FRPP/Stingers are designed. I'd imagine they're just perforated tubes that use the larger can as a resonator of sorts.

I agree about SLP, they're garbage. Stay away for sure! I had a muffler hanger break on my Powerflow's and switched them out for some FRPP GTA's, liking them much better.
