I drive over a hundie every day to an from work and slowing down from that does not cause any noise. It's when slowing down from 20 or less that they squeal.

People who drive with a light foot have brake squeal. I drive aggressively and I almost never have brake squeal.

A brake cooling kit is an inexpensive way to help your brakes cool at the track. I have no fade with my brakes. Even the instructor was impressed with the brakes on my car. I have Hawk HPS pads, SS lines, DOT 4 fluid, and a Quantumm Motorsports brake cooling kit.

Here's a picture of my car at the track, with the brake cooling intakes. They are meant to go over the existing factory lower grille, but I took the lower grille off and installed them directly into the fascia. I thought that looked more purposeful, and I thought about modifying the lower grille so that I could install it over the intakes if I wanted to cover them up.

I am tempted to make my own brake cooling kit. I've seen some pretty decent DIY jobs, and pretty cheap.

Jon, why all the cobra badges?

I must be the exception. Hey, what's that red thing hanging on your grill?

We have a brake flush machine at work
A hose hooks up to each bleeder and and adapter to the master cylinder and your off(sorta)
How so you hook up the clutch bleeder?
The clutch line is hooked into the MC.

You could probably make up your own brake cooling kit if you were handy at fabbing sheet metal. The inlets could be made from 3" PVC, but the outlets that bolt onto the hub would have to be metal. $200 for the whole kit is not a bad price, though. Especially for us un-handy types.

The Cobra badges? I really wanted a GT500, but won't play the ADM game. So I took the opposite tack and bought as cheap a GT as I could find and then modded it. It handles better than a GT500 anyway. The SO bought the Cobra badges for me as a birthday present so I wouldn't be quite as disappointed

The red thing in the grille is the transponder to record lap times.

I have the HPSs and no squeal at all. I do have the Powerslot rotors also. I haven't had the time to get to a track yet but will try this year.
