Pypes is releasing the mid muffler system in May. There's a couple of sound clips on the website here.

Sounds interesting...don't know if I really like that though. Too raspy and high pitched for me. I enjoy the deeper sound of my Bassani's, I just don't really like the drone.

Moving the battery to the other side of the car (on the dominant tire side, right rear tire) and setting it as far back as possible is exactly what should be done for a consumer car. I think that is what was on their minds. I have seen a Lincoln (something or another) car with a trunk mounted battery, but I don't remember exactly how it was set up. I don't think the back seats folded down eithor, making it a safely contained area for battery fumes with a trunk mount. Ford was trying to be more "practicle" in their design I think.
lincoln ls' had trunk mounted batteries, as well as most if not all recent BMW's have it as well.

alright bringin this back.... Although I like the SLP Bullits style mufflers, I'm still not satisfied.... I think I've decided to give the Magnapacks or Bassani Race Mufflers a try... suggestions?
