Hey guys,

I finally got around to installing the Pypes H-pipe I got from Brenspeed, with the the help of a friend who owns a shop. Man, it really opened it up!! Now it really sounds like a muscle car - much more intimidating.
The same buddy also welded it at the H joint so no leak issues there.

Some guys said they felt somewhat of a power loss at first. I don't feel this is the case with me. ON the contrary, I felt like it pulled noticeably harder. Perhaps my SOTP meter is a little off, but I don't think so.

Also, no CEL as of yet. I love this mod!

I think it couples well with my Magnaflows, loud but not insanely loud. At cruise it's a nice deep rumble. At WOT it just sounds sick!! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/drool.gif[/img]

 

Congrats. Just some advice: I ran with the same pipe for weeks with no CEL problem; then outta the blue one day it happened. After that I had to get the rear 02 sensors turned off. Don't be surprised if this happens.

Mine lasted a couple days before the CEL came on...I'm sure it'll happen, but gotta love that sound.

Ok,

as far as the CEL, can it be disabled from my Predator? Or should I order the MIL eliminators from Brenspeed?
Also, I did notice the "tinny" sound people have been talking about. Not a big deal, but is there a way to minimize this?

I took a short video of my exhaust with my digicam. Granted, it's not the best quality, but it'll give you some idea .

My question is, how do I get this file hosted?

Oh yeah, it's an .avi format.
