Like everyone else, congrats Brian!

There's a heap of stuff to buy before and after if you so choose. Important part is you got the blower purchase handled.

Sounds like it'll be ready just in time for the Knotts show!

Don't worry Luis, we'll make it out there.

Bill,
IF the planets align, right in time for Knott's

I posted pics of the new tires and wheels, hopefully they'll provide better traction than the stockers. Adam had recommended Drag Radials but I am not so ready to go with such a low mileage tire right away. May have to anyway (he probably knows this much better than I do... )

Anyway, if you're interested and this isn't specifically Whipple related.... Here's the link to the External Mod thread..

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?p=5547253

The immediate mods after the Whipple will be Gauges and an Stef's or Moroso oil/air separator. Then a big brake kit that I can squeeze in with the smallest spacer that I'll end up needing to use because of the Torq Thrusts

T minus seven days to Whipple install day

Amazing.. my project seems like it's taking a month!

I think this is the longest I've gone without seeing my baby in person.

Oh man don't I know it. I'm so nervous it's not even funny. I'll be a wreck from Wednesday until I pick it up.

2 days and I drop her off

Wonder how you going to fit big brake kit with those wheels. I have the same wheels and wanted to do the same set up. Are your wheel 20"?

I have no idea. The wheels are 18" and I think the only resource I have is spacers. Not looking forward to using spacers so we'll see.

I drop her off tomorrow and I'm nervous at the same time

Well here the the bump to this thread I've been waiting to do.

First off I want to thank Adam, John and Dan at ST Motorsports. Absolutely awesome. To say I'm happy or pleased is a gross understatement. They were able to get this installed and out-the-door in a very short timeframe and even with a couple minor frustrations, mainly with my SCT X-Cal, it all worked out in the end. I could not imagine going to anyone else for my Mustang performance needs. Not saying other shops couldn't do it, it's just that I am that happy with the service, knowledge and performance that I received from ST Motorsports. They rock

OK, enough fluffing (even though I do mean everything I said above). Now to the best part.

My final numbers are as follows.
454 rwhp/413TQ The dyno graph in the pics included is a bad pic I need to get that scanned ing. The car pulls like it doesn't want to stop. There just isn't a long-enough road and definitely too many other people on the road. If everyone could just take the day off from driving on the So Cal freeways and let me play for a day, I'd be very happy.

Vid.. from little point-n-shoot. No banner, music, leadin... nothing but sweet exhaust
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=os96lKE48_Y

(no leadin or music 'cause I don't know how to do that yet )

Pics

Congrats man! Try taking her out at about 3 or 4am. Shouldn't be that many cars out then. Watch out for cops though!

Looks like he kept the tune nice and safe; from the dyno chart you are running 11:1 A/F

Awesome.

Now you are expected to join club whipple at the track from time to time as you see fit. This is your official invite.

Alot of us was at the track today as a matter of fact......

You need to be in the next picture like this:

Thanks for the invite. I definitely plan on coming out. Gotta get some stuff first, DRs, helmet, jacket and a couple other goodies before I run, but I will get them. If I can pull it off I'll come out there Thursday. Would have been to either Irwindale or Fontana for the nostalgic drags if I hadn't already registered for Knott's with some guys from TMS. Best laid plans, huh ?

Right now I'm still kinda paranoid that I'm gonna blow the motor, so I know I haven't leaned on it as hard as it could be.
