GMS vs BMR suspension components - Are they the SAME?

I was looking at the BMR and GMS suspension offerings for the '05+ Mustangs, and noticed that they look almost EXACTLY the same.
Does Granatelli make these parts for BMR or something?
Any info would be appreciated.

it might be the other way around. BMR makes all their own stuff.

How many different ways can you make a poly lca or panhard bar? Suspension parts from alot of companies look the same.

You aren't suggesting that GMS is the "Harbor Freight" of the performance parts market are you?

A lot of people are suggesting just that.

Anyways, BMR is known for making some of the best stuff in the suspension industry.

Well.... if you follow the Granatelli name, you'll know that J.R.'s Uncle Andy was responsible for making STP a household name. He was a "marketing" guru in the automotive field.

Does the Apple fall far from the tree?

Just to clarify--they are known as making some of the best stuff for drag racing suspensions, not street or road racing.

Granatelli can copy most everybody's design instantly, including their early prototype defects with his overseas connection. Several Ford Performance companies that innovate have been victimized by him. Buy American made products they are the best, period!!!

If we make such great product than why don't they make ANY major electronic device in the USA anymore? Toyota is about to take over the Numero uno spot as the biggest car manufacturer over GM (what a sad day that will be). Ford will be lucky to last another 10 years (or any US mfg car company) if they don't get back the styling that made our cars stand out. Yep, buy american before it's too late. Remember Nafta ---(under DEMOCRATS) was a real great thing wasn't it...Lets make the Mexicans rich so they quite crossing our borders...Welcome back democrats...Just get ready to bend over for some more of their wonderful ideas.

Ok now... lets not turn this into a political debate. After all the political party now formerly in control has bent the American people over quite a few times in the last 12 years too.

Maybe a blanket statement to buy American is a bit excessive in a Mustang parts thread. BMR is American though and they do make awesome parts....as to be on topic with this thread. GMS does take other companies parts and goes to China to copy. This is a bean in the bucket compared to how much this goes on in this country. In general, everyone should buy American to strengthen our economy and not anyone else's. The American corporations/companies should sharpen up the quality etc. If you look at your everyday items, it seems that 90% of the products are made outside of the U.S. As well, try calling Hewlett Packard and you'll find yourself talking to someone in Pakistan.

Have a nice day.

GMS is a total rip off. look at the line lock kit he has. they are SUMMIT solenoids. His CAI is C&L's, his suspension stuff is ripped from BMR. its a wonder a lot of ppl dont see this and call BS on him
