gas pedal stuck to floor

Sorry if this has been asked before but has anyone had the gas pedal stick to floor and yes I removed the floor mat to see if that is problem still does it. It only does it when pedal is pressed to floor I have to stomp the pedal in order for it to release. I checked the connections under hood and floorboard can't find anything

its drive by wire so there is no throttle cable to get stuck. Id say its something binding under the dash at the pedal itself.

Cool

Hello there the problem lies with the pedal itself... the bolt which holds the pedal is sticking and needs to either be replaced due to a manufacturing defective roller which slides over the bolt.
thanks

I would agree with the above post. It has to be with the pedal assembly since there is no cable.
