Fuel Pump (TSB 06-9-9) Replaced

My Dealership (Folsom Lake Ford) came through again. This was my 4th warranty issue [(1) repainted engine compartment firewall due to brake fluid leak; (2) replaced windshield due to defective laminate between windshield glass layers; (3) Dead Battery; (4) Fuel Pump] in the first year, and each repaired/replaced with no questions asked. 2 weeks ago I was attempting to pass on Highway 49 (mountain highway)... jammed the throttle for the Pony fly-by... and instead got the bucking bronco. Car fell on it's face for 1 sec.. then engaged.. then fell.. then engaged... with lots of mechanical clunking sounds. Anyway, yesterday found I had a dead battery, so opted to put everything back to stock and take her in. Jump started it, and off to Folsom. I brought a copy of TSB 06-9-9 and left it with them. They replaced the battery (did an electrical test, and all good.. so guess the battery just crapped out after 11K miles) and replaced the fuel pump/sending unit. Apparently they were able to extract a fault code from the defective pump. Here's an excerpt from the workorder "CALLED OASIS FOR THE CONCERN, AND FOUND TSB 06-9-9. MONITORED PID/DATA AND DCL DISPLAY. PERFORMED PIN-POINT TESTS AS PER THE MESSAGE AND FOUND A FAULT IN THE FUEL PUMP. REPLACED FUEL PUMP. TEST DROVE TO CONFIRM REPAIR, ALL OK. RE-EEC TESTED THE VEHICLE AND PASSED". Anyone else who had their pump replaced know if diagnosis/test was able to extract/confirm a fault? Just curious as I thought they were just taking our word alone on the symptoms experienced.

Just had mine replaced yesterday, they did access the PCM to check for codes. The tech mentioned something about a code, I can check the paperwork later and post what it said.
