Fuel Pump on ProCharged Mustang

Hi all,

One of my friends over here is having a serious peoject on his 2007 Mustang.

He's almost done with the car with the following upgrades:
- Strocked engine (4.9L)
- Ported heads, cams
- Procharger supercharger, P-1SC-1 Stage 2, boost is set @ 10psi at the moment
- GT500 Dual Fuel pump with Kenne Bell Dual Boost A Pump
- The car has the OEM fuel pump driver + the driver coming with the Shelby fuel pump. The GT500 pump wires shall be connected to the OEM pump driver. (I'm not really sure if this is correct setup).

Everything is installed and the car starts normally. However, once it's warmed up, the OEM pump driver gets really hot and the car cuts and the engine stalls. Upon checking the GT500 pump driver, it's cold (normal).

My questions now:

1- Is this s correct setup for the fuel pumps / drivers / connections?
2- If yes, what would be the problem and what can we check to resolve this issue?
3- If not, what would be the correct setup for fuel pumps / drivers / connections?

Let me know if you need any other information. I'm counting on you guys to solve this issue.

Don't quote me on this since I've never done it for an S197. I believe however that you have to completely swap out the FPDM for the GT500 unit.

Guys doing this with SN cars are generally doing a complete FPDM upgrade including going to a heavier gauge wire.

Is this something we need: http://www.lethalperformance.com/201...-pumps-p-31821 along with decent wires?
