Are the Stingers that much louder than the GTA's?
Having a 'vert, I am a bit leery of an exhaust that is too loud.

I also like to get on it and don't want an overly loud exhaust to alert the always-nearby cops to my shenanigans.

The GTAs are barely louder than stock, and are poorly made with a laughable warranty.

The stingers do have more volume, but believe me there nothing like running a set of SLP loudmouths which are really muffler deletes ! I don't think you will get ticketed for being to loud with the Stingers.

I am more concerned with the "going over the speed limit" than the "exhaust is too loud" tickets.

Thanks for the comments though. I am glad to hear they aren't too obnoxious because the sound great on all the youtube videos I have been listening to.

I have the GTAs and FRPP X pipe and wish I would have gone with the stingers. The biggest reason is that these GTAs started rusting almost immediately! Granted I live in the salt belt, but wow, I surely didn't expect that. I'm talking about the tips too, not the casing. My pretty stainless tips are full of noticable rust! They also rust from inside and leave a nice rust stain on the inside bottom of the tip. I polish them once a week to keep them looking ok. I WILL have the stingers on sooner or later.

Get the Stingers.

I was in your same position, and ended up taking a chance on the Stingers. No regrets!

Yesterday I took my car out of winter hibernation for it's first ride in 2008...so it's been awhile since I heard my car.

It gave me chills.

Seriously

I know this is sort of outside the scope of this discussion, but how do the Stingers compare to the Pypes Violators?
