Question FRPP X Pipe: CA Smog Legal?

I'm debating on pulling the trigger and getting the FRPP X pipe for my Pony.

I do know that if it's installed I'll have to cut up my factory H pipe, essentially destroying it and making it that much more difficult to return to stock if the California enviro-***** demand it.

Does anyone know if the FRPP X pipe is smog legal, since the GT500 and Shelby GTH come stock with this pipe?

Art, you’re good to go. Since no part of the emission system is being tampered with there is no reason why you would fail any aspect of the smog test.

Pretty sure it's smog legal. It's on the two production cars, which would have to be cali-legal. The factory cats are left untouched.

Yes it is Smog legal. There are like 3 out now that are smog legal the FRRP and Bassani and i cannot recall the other but i think it is the Pypes one.

As long as you go with the Short X Pipe you are fine.

As long as you modify behind the cats your should be fine. I have one on mine with the GTA's and I'm not concern about the smog visual or the sniffer.
