FRPP Stinger performance when coasting
There are a couple threads on here about the Stingers, but I dint see any mention of something I've noticed after installing mine.
Whenever I am in a lower gear (2nd or 3rd) and let off of the gas (like when approaching a red light), it seems like the car slows down quicker than before. I can hear the exhaust (love the sound), but its almost like it pulling the car back with it as it slows down. If I press the clutch, it frees up and coasts like normal before the exhaust.
I'm wondering if this is common or cause for concern.

It's just that you hear the decel better now. Since technically you have less backpressure from the exhaust with your new mufflers it really should coast easier now.

The difference in momentum is merely the gear your in catching as you "coast" to a stop. When you push the clutch in you free the crank and then really coast. So I imagine thats why you feel the difference in speed. OH...and I love the gurgle!
