I did! I noticed that the exhaust note sounded much better. The headers and Flowmaster Super 40's seem to click. I have more power it seems to me after 2500 RPM's and my gas mileage went up 1.6 MPG's.

Shorty headers aren't worth it for performance on a modern car. Stock manifolds flow much better than they did 40, 30, or even 20 years ago, even if they don't look so hot.

top end gain on shortie's about 5 to 8 hp's but where I do notice is the HP gains in the lower rpm's Mustang monthly did a Good article on a set of BBk shorties, the dyno showed gains of 12 to 14 in the lower RPM's 2500 to 4500 .

Cool thanks for the info. I have a set on order that is slated to be in middle of Aug. I just don't like the looks of the stock headers on the car they look like crap and a few extra hp is a good thing too. If anybody has pics of these headers intalled let me know.

I don't have any pictures but will tell you to remove battery box, it will make the job alittle easier. My directions did not say to do it, but it helped out alot.

I have others but they really aren't visible from up top when all of the engine and accessories are in, not to mention a turbo, S/C and piping.
