FRPP handeling pack, opinions please

I am in need of new rear shocks and I found this at CDC, I already have the Stage 2 Roush lowering springs so I dont really need the springs, not sure if the ones I have need to be replaced after almost 3 years.
Anyway, is anybody running this setup and if so what do you think of it. Also how much drop did you get after the install.
thanks in advance, Joe

The ad states a 0.5 to 1 inch drop from stock height. Those shocks and struts look rather different from the other FRPP handling packages available.

To answer the thread title I purchased and had Monaco Ford install the FRPP M-FR3-MCGT. They have better but I went with what I could afford. I did not want to do this one myself (with all those rusty parts down there lol) I had them go 1" lower and am loving it. 1" seemed to settle down a bit lower.

  • [*]
  • Handling Pack includes:
  • All components are designed to work together as a package
  • Lowers car approximately 1.0". For 1.5" lowering springs see M-5300-K, sold separately
  • Dampers are manufactured by Dynamic Suspensions.
  • Note:Some factory fasteners are one time use. Please reference service manual for reuse information and correct torque specifications.
In the August 2010 issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, the editors installed the M-FR3-MGT handling pack on a 2007 Mustang GT. To check out the install article, visit the MM&FF website.

I bought and installed this CDC kit. It lowered my car 1" all around. To me it feels better than stock ride, smoother.
I know there is better but, not for the $$. I'm glad I got in on this deal.

I have the CDC kit and I am very happy with it. Using just the rear bar makes the car a bit flatter but more importantly makes it more neutral it under-steers less. I am pretty sure the setup was originally designed for use with the Foose Stallion line of Mustangs. These had 20" wheels and maybe one of the reasons my car suffers no ill effects from running 20s.

I added a few other items when I was down there as well.

Arbo, are you running 18's or 20's. does it really make a difference on the shocks and struts?
