Thumbs up

I just ordered my new FRPP exhaust from a dealer in va for $360. I made sure to order "M-5230-5GT". That is the one everyone says is the borla correct. All you guys who ordered this can confirm that yours was this part number and they do sound just like the clips from boomer(borlas). I was 99% sure this was correct but with the other post about there "ricey" sound I have lost some confidence in my accuracy. I should have them Friday but I just would like to know so I can sleep and know im getting the borla manufactured s-type exhaust.

Thanks!

That is indeed the correct part number for the S-Type Borla made FRPP exhaust.

And just to clarify further, they're all Borla exhaust, just different types.

M-5230-5GTQ is the toned down one, not sure if it's a toned down S-Type or a completely different animal like a chambered type.

I also, have just ordered the m-5230-5gt exhaust for my GT. I was looking for something that was going to be more than "slightly" louder than stock. Man, I am keeping fingers crossed...have heard mixed review. It was the only one on frpp sight that was NOT 50 state drive-by noise legal, so...for what that's worth. I'm new to the forum, so any additional feedback??? Off subject...GO VOLS!!!

From the way it sounds, if you ordered the exhaust ending in "GT" you're probably good.
