18" wheels vs 17"s

If my GT orgianally comes with 17" wheels and I change to 18"s will there be any problems with the speedometer?

Not if you keep the overall diameter the same.

For example, stock is 235 55 R17. You can switch to 255 45 R18 and the overall diameter will only be different by 0.5% (which is insignificant).

No problems whatsoever

perfect answer! also a tuner could adjust tire size changes.
