Frpp Cams

So...anyone tried out the FRPP cams? I just saw a video on youtube, and they sound dee-licious. Now, I'm not looking for a supercharger v. cams comparo, I'm just trying to find out if anyone is running these, if they are satisfied with them, and if they had any warranty issues or install tips (not how-to, but rather who-to, 'cause I'm not going to tear into an engine myself THAT deeply).
Thanks in advance,
-Jim

Can you post a link to that video? I'd like to hear them myself!

I was thinking about these as well but I don't think FRPP cams exist. I checked their website and couldn't find them. This video makes my mouth water though.

I just did some searching on FRPP site and found these but I don't know if these are the ones. They say it fits the 07 - 08 SVT though. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Those are for the 5.4L 4V GT 500. Count the number of cams = 4.

That sounds fantastic!

Since it looks like JPC Racing did the work, I would give them a call.

Just FYI: our brakes are vacuum power assisted (no longer hydroboost) so if the camshafts are too radical, then you're going to lose some power assist for the brakes due to lower vacuum at idle.

They're supposed to be available in April or May, I believe. They've got quite a lope, so I would assume they'll need new springs.

If they're priced the same as the SVT cams above they're a steal comparedto the current market.

Read the Ford advertisement again. That is $550.00 each X 4 cams = $2,200.00 And they are for the Shelby GT500's not our stangs.

Oh my hell. I hate you for posting this. Some of us are trying NOT to spend money. You are a very bad man...

FRPP huh? That would make me feel a little better than "other" manufacturers who have added metal to cams to get them to sound like that. Surely there is more there than just cams, like headers or something. I can't imagine even those with my SLP's would make that sound. But if they did...

Spoke with FRPP today about the cams. They Should be available in late FEB. They also said that spring replacement is not needed.
I will post when they are in stock.

The idle on that car in the video was more than "slightly rougher than stock". You guys think they are the same ones?
