Front sway bar removal
From what I've read, it's supposed to help with weight transfer and help with launching. I just read a debate on another forum after googling it, some ppl say it makes the car handle like **** and it can be dangerous. Others said it had little to no effect on handling but was worth it for the added traction during launches. Idk, just seeking more opinions...
Some guys unhook it at the track and hook it back up after. A good suspesnion set up for the track should take care of it but keep in mind that trying to build a track/street car is very tricky since the balance is hard to find. Theer are going to be trade offs on what it good for drags vs the street, this why people unhook the sway for just going down the track. I would stay with drag radials for a street car that is only going to be going to do occasional track days. slicks are very hard on the driveline and can find the weak spots fast. Drag radials grip better than street tires but provide just enough slip to save you stuff for another day , just my opinion though.
