Well thought some might want to know, that the cold air kit is now shown on there site. Although not a very good picture. For 225 dollars, I am certainly interested. Here is the link

Any idea's who makes it for them ?

Well since it is brand new, I doubt any tunes are out yet. But wait a little while and all will be answered I am sure. Ford makes them. Notice the ford badging. Good luck

Is that air intake made by Ford or is it another aftermarket part with a ford badge? Also is the quality of the part good?

Hrmmm, I like it!

Like to see more details and results for sure. It certainly doesn't look like a re-badge of anything we've seen yet.

Me too...I like it. The plastic may look cheap to some, but I bet it keeps the air charge cooler than anything made of metal.

Something tells me it basically a K&N. Probably nothing too special, but the airbox is interesting.

Wonder how that top opening would line up with the opening in the California Dream hood.

Interesting looking airbox. Wonder if it uses the stock MAF. I bet at that price it does. Be real interesting to see if it needs a tune and what HP it is capable of.

Looks to me like it's designed for a functional hood.
That's the only reason I can see to have that kind of opening in the top.

Think I'll hold off on the K&N setup until there's more info on this one. Nothing beats plastic for a CAI.
