Turbo. Love the "jet engine" sound when done "right". Properly matched to the engine, they're also torque monsters as well.

Yes, you can get the KB or Whipple put on an automatic tranny car.
I don't see why it "can't be done." But Whipple will tell you the Whipple will require special tuning (It is not recommended for autos because of the huge numbers it puts out, but there are several guys running even bigger numbers on stock trannys sucessfully). Lethal Performance/VMP tuning have started a program for the Whipple to offer different tunes for different PSI and tranny combos.
DonW is the KB guru. I would PM him for any questions. I know he needed custom tuning because he was one of the first guys with a KB kit in his auto. I think KB offers a "stock" tune for their auto kits now.

I have one on my 06 auto, and I believe others do as well. The HO kit for the auto trans comes with an 8psi pulley instead of the 10psi pulley that comes for the manual trans kit. But if you want 10psi the extra pulley is only $100 or so, but you'll need a custom tune becase they won't provide a tune for that, i think.

Whipple has changed their mind. They now say the intercooled 10PSI HO whipple is okay on the Autos. He said they even have guys calling back asking for more boost!

I'm thinking of picking up a 10psi pulley myself. Wait and see how it feels with the new torque converter at 8psi though, that may be enough for what I want right now. at 10psi though, I would start to be worried about how the motor will hold up. at 8psi my converter is already slipping!
