First Time at the Track last night with the Kenne Bell

All i can say is wow. New Best Time, New best 60' new best everything.

i got 3 runs in, my first being the best. My second run i spun the tires through first. second and third, hooking up at the nd of third going into 4th. The third run was the same deal but i hooked at the eginning of third instead of the end.

Here is the Times. Now i gotta find a scanner for the timeslip. I did not attempt to launch the car on this run. The tree went and i let the carr roll from an idle and then got on it. the other 2 runs i spun the tires on i tried to launch at 1500rpms and 1100 rpms. i think i need practice, better tires, or swap the 4.10s to something liek 3.73's

R/T: .343
60': 1.902
330: 5.356
1/8: 8.123 @ 88.65 MPH
1000: 10.485
1/4: 12.438@ 117.5 MPH

I beat a pretty modified lightning too. he had me till the 1/8th then i took him down. he got a 12.680 @ 105.38

totally a whole new curve for learning. i wasnt even done learning before the S/C haha. all i know is the 4.10 gears are too much for the 1/4 mile with the supercharger

Get that badboy to 60' and your MPH will put you well into the 11's. Was that on street rubber? If so a nice set of 275/40 17 drag radials will benefit your times nicely.Good work.

4.10 gears are too much for the 1/4 mile with the supercharger
I thought 4.10 w/ Supercharger was optimal set up for the 1/4. I guess it all comes down to driver preference

everyone says 3.73's are the optimum gear for the unit. i tend to believe them. i may leave them. i just ordered MT drag radials. i am going to use my stock 17" rims for them and see what happens.

Great time indeed! I think you will find that the 4:10 will be too much in the long run. That is with the SC'er.

Good start, and you definitely have room to go even quicker!!

I'm sticking with the 4.10s, but going to a taller 28" tire. That combo should easily handle the top end all the way up to 130mph. The one time I took the KB to the track (1/8-mi), it cut a 1.79 60' (stock torque convertor), and ran a 7.85 on 26" DRs. I can't wait to get back and try it again.
