Went up to Atco Raceway last night with a bunch of friends/family.
Had a BLAST!

Right lane both passes.

Temp was about 75, engine was at full op temp (194 ish), tires at normal street PSI, and my IAC temp was north of 110!!! I blame them making us wait in the lanes RUNNING for a good 20 minutes both times before getting us moving. The 13.6 was the first run followed with the 13.4 about 1.5 hours later as the night cooled off to the 60's

My 60 ft times are horrible.. First run I left at 2500rpms and the second I left at 3700rpms. I kept dead hooking with alittle chatter, then bogging. Guess I have a reason to get those LCA's I've been wanting.

congrats on those times! Your sig says you have GT500 rims and tires. What pressure were you running?

It's not a stocker, it has a C&L intake and an SCT Livewire canned tune. Still very good times, congrats!!

 

It has a SCT tune made for the C&L intake... Next time I'm heading up there you are welcome to come watch.



Thanks! The rears were at roughly 32psi. I just picked up some CHE Adj. LCA's Saturday at the Etown show / swap meet that I'm going to toss on today. Hopefully they'll help with the wheel hop issues.

 

Let me know when you're heading back to Atco. I'm 15-20 minutes from the track, but I usually don't head out until I know some other Mustangs will be around...
I've had my fill of kiddies with their fart can junky Mom/Dad cast-off imports (which is the typical crowd these days)

 

Nice job with the '08! Drag Radials cure '60 ft headaches! Or make it more complicated... Haha. It sucks when you can't get a cooldown before a run.
