Thumbs up Finally...got my supercharger!

Ok, so I've been wanting to do this upgrade since 2006. After looking at all the options including Roush, Kenne Bell, Whipple, etc, I decided on the Edelbrock E-Force. It was one of the more expensive blowers but so far it seems to be worth the extra dime. There are so many benefits to this kit; here's a synopsis:

I gave up looking for an install shop (there's another thread going about this: https://themustangsource.com/f669/be...0/#post6080827 ) and decided to do it myself with some well informed buddies...including a BMW master tech.

The install project starts next weekend...I am sooooooo stoked!!!!

I just finished going through all the parts; everything is in the kit. Here's how it looks in my living room:

for me:
I think for a street car a positive displacement will be more fun in daily driving...another 100 ft-lb off idle would be really nice

I'm still dreaming...maybe edelbrock, saleen, magnacharger, or KENNE-BELL!

Mission accomplished!! The installation took me and two helpers about 20 hours to complete...start to finish. Hood removal was not necessary for us. If you plan on doing this job, there are several YouTube videos that were helpful to watch before starting the project. We are experienced gear heads but usually on BMW's. This was our first go at a supercharger installation.

The kit was very complete although it did contain the wrong TMAP harness and throttle body gasket. Edelbrock tech support has been awesome throughout the process. We were able to work around the harness by wiring it across the top of the manifold. I'll have the new harness tomorrow.

This is how it looks in the car:

Here are a couple of video links to our project:

This car is now a friggin' monster!!!!

Very nice indeed. I almost pulled the trigger on one of those when they first came out, but I received the Super sweet deal on my Saleen SS and it was a no brainier form there.
