Finally broke 400rwhp!!
Just got home from getting the nitrous tuned on my car. It made 424rwhp and 472rwtq on bottle. Made 336rwhp and 321rwtq on just motor. Car is set up with a 100 shot NX plate kit. The tunes were wrote by Cincy Speed, if anyone in the Cincinnati Ohio area needs tuning these are the guys to see. Adam there does a great job and all the guys are nice.

Man I am going to tell you I was less than your numbers were N/A and I got a huge boost from a Head & Cam swap. I mean obviously going to make a jump but your numbers plus a swap would be GREAT... I know its a lot of money but just food for thought!

i have been thinking about that actually. i need to upgrade my fuel system and get some suspension parts. but if i can pull it out i am going to do the heads and cams, maybe a forged motor.

i got to upgrade my fuel system because soon as my nitrous hits i go lean and then the pump recovers and goes right back to the right a/f ratio. but when i build the motor i got to decide if i a going nitrous or supercharger. will prolly stay nitrous.

PIKE2244 - what kind of numbers did you put down with the head and cam swap? Can you elaborate on the set-up? Vendor? Part numbers? Etc.....
Whats the driveability like? I am not looking for something that is kinda weak down low - then hits you like a ton of bricks around 5k rpms. (sorry - don't know much about expected performance from head and cam swaps)
And if you don't mind me asking - what is the typical cost for this - including install.
Thanks!

Vendor: TORQ (Gettorq.com) Miramar FL
The Setup:
Torq CNC Ported State 2 Heads:
-5 axis CNC machined
-Intake flow rate 282 CFM
-Exhaust flow rate 187 CFM
-Custom valve job
-Custom ground factory 34mm intake valves
-Custom ground factory 37.5mm exhaust valves
-Ford valve seals and locks
-steel retainers
-Torq single coil valve spring
Torq Stage 2 Cams
Cam Phaser Lockouts
Steeda Charge Motion Delete Plates
Steeda U/D Pulley Kit
Kooks Long Tubes w/ Catted H
C&L Intake
MagnaPaks
FRPP Intake Manifold
FRPP TB
Dyno Numbers:
- Before Manifold & TB: Roughly 70rwhp and 35rwtq gains with our cnc heads (So at 375rwhp 340rwtq)
- After Manifold & TB: 390rwhp 355rwtq (roughly, I don't have the graph in front of me but I know the hp should be correct but the tq in the after numbers I am approximating)
Drivability: The Dyno did show a small decrease on the Low end and I felt a negligible loss but around 2K rpm it completely picked up... And on top of that it pulled a lot lot harder all the way to red line!!!
Price: If this is something you are seriously considering PM me and I will give you some figures...
Hope this helps!!!
