a few pics of the car at the Shelby show
Here is a couple pics of my car from the SAAC-30 event at the California Speedway. My car was on display on behalf of Vortech superchargers and it so happened their booth was right next to the Shelby trailer.Car got great exposure and Carroll himself liked the way the car was done up so much he graciously signed my dash and the car was awarded best 05 at the show.
Put 2k miles on her now with the vortech kit and it runs great. No issues to speak of.Smooth as silk around town and on the hwy, & just plain sick when I get into it with some of the "chevy" variety
..Had my tuner work on the fuel tables a bit more and extract a few more ponies on the dyno. New dyno run :431 hp and 407tq at the wheels!

Thanks very much all..I plan on having a graphics, paint shop or somebody laminate or clearcoat the dash to protect the sig.The additional brushed dash pieces are from woodview. www.ssinserts.com

Is it common on these cars for the tq to be lower than the hp? I have always seen a inverse relationship but usually with tq winning out. Great car!!! Sweet blower! How loud is the blower?

PS: watch those tuners and thier tweaking. If you are chasing a magical HP number, they will get it, regardless of the costs!!! I always tune to A/F then go from there.

my buddy sean always tunes on A/f first and progresses from that starting point.I do believe however they changed the RPM scope on the dyno a bit when those #'s were calculated from the last time, but my torque was still slightly lower than my overall HP.I am not shooting for any magical # persay as I am more than satisfied with this now,but I'll get a bit more out of it once the aftercooler is added soon.BTW, the vortech is quiet!..A slight whine at idle which is hardly noticeable to me and under WOT you can hear the blow off (which sounds amazing) but it is still very quiet in terms of like the procharger kit I've heard.Definately does not attract any attention while at idle or at a light etc..
Thank you all for the kind words
