According to AmericanMuscle, the stock hanger set on some 07's will not accomodate aftermarket axel-backs. How do I know if i need to spend an extra 50 bucks for a hanger set that will comply? (I bought my car in the beginning of March if that helps).

No, its true. Some 07s have all rubber hangers and not the steel/rubber hangers like the 05-06 and early 07s have.I lucked out with the "old" style hangers on my 07.

If you bought your car in March, you might be OK. My car's build date is February 20th and I bought it on March 9th. I have the old style steel and rubber hangers and my FRPP GTA mufflers installed without any issues.

 

I have the all rubber hangers and my Mac mufflers went on without any issues

 

my april built 07 had the rubber/steel ones

 

Do we have any pics of these hangers??? so we know what you mean by all rubber or not?

 

07 here... steel and rubber hangers on mine.

 

My '07 has the steel/rubber hangers and mine went on just fine. I fought the passenger side a little bit, but then I loosened the clamp at the h pipe and it went right into place.

 

Does anybody have some pics of these?

I just ordered some flowmasters, so I would like to know!
