2006 GT. anyone having problems with their slave cylinder? I got a McLeod clutch which works great, I purchased a Exedy slave cylinder from AM. it broke within 500 miles. the Exedy was a "heavy duty" release bearing for big clutches (Super StreetPro Clutch). it looks like the inner hydraulic sleeve extended too far and broke off the retaining tabs. is there shims to install between the slave cylinder and trans? anyone know the distance the release bearing needs to travel to release the clutch?

 

I've had this same problem three times with doorman, perfection and stock I also bought my clutch from American muscle it is the exedy stage 2 but I have no clue why we can't keep slave cylinders
