Does anyone know if the 2005 GT comes with an Engine immobiliser?? If so, did you get an appropriate peice of paperwork with the type of immobiliser on it?

Not sure if this is in the correct sub-forum.

Thanks in advance

Ian

It is in your key. The car will not run without a signal from a chip in the ignitions keys ( that is why they cost over $100.00 to replace one )

sranger,

WHERE are you buying your car keys???? I picked up two factory Ford keys for my stang the day (after) I picked up my GT. The total? $27. I DID have to program them myself though.

If you are paing $100 a key, someone is RAPING YOU!

Cool, I thought there would have been one, however, nothing was on the website....so I thought check the forums. My dealer has since read the user manual to me, not got it yet, and everything is in there.

ukfiveo, where did you get your insurance from...was it in another thread. Something about 5k miles a year

$27 for a key. Does not sound like there is much inside that???
