Has anyone done this? I know pypes has one to go with their own pipes. I want something like the boss exhaust for my 06 and this may be the next best thing. What are you guys thoughts?

Due to where I placed them (after the H) they also serve as the lowest point of my chassis, so they scrape on pretty much any ramp or speed bump.
One thing that could have contributed to the failure is that the motors don't stop when they are fully open or closed, so you have to be careful and hope your count is consistent when you count "One Mississippi, Two Mississippi, etc.."

No, I'm at stock ride height. Here's how they currently look with the motors removed and plates in their place. The shiny stuff is adhesive backed heat shielding I added to be on the safe side with exhaust outputting in that area. With the motors, the mounting flange will stick out a little bit more.
They don't stick out too much, but they are just low enough that they scrape on my in-laws' driveway ramp
I plan on replacing them with straight pipe when I get an O/R H installed, because I don't use them without motors to open from the cabin.

I also just read about their low profile oval cutout and how they can make one specifically to your car. This might help in the scraping don't you think? And! They now have some fancy stuff and powder coating to make it last longer

I used Quick Time Performance on my last Stang. Nothing better for sound with control and no drone at any RPM.
Done with the help of a friend with a muffler shop. Best sound ever!

I'd been through three exhaust systems trying to get sound without drone before I ran into this. If I was to do a system again from scratch, I would put tips I like on stock set-up and just add the controlable QTP cut-outs.

In hindsight before the H would have been a much better spot, and welded will last a long time. The clamp in pieces I have are flowtech race readies and they are rusted junk after being in for 5 years. Latemodel restoration has the overaxle segments that I'm just going to replace to eliminate the extra belt clamps that are leaking. While I'm in there I'm putting in an H with high flow cats as well
