Question Eibach Pro kit VS Steeda Ultra's. Your 0.02?

I have only been in one 06 w/ an Eibach Pro Kit and it had OE shocks and struts. I am considering either them or a set of Steeda Ultra lites.

Where does everyone stand on this? If you have seen both in person or better yet been for a ride in both I'd like to here your opinions.

Also has anyone stayed w/ their original struts? I have about 5000 miles on them.

I like the Steeda Ultralites, and NO not just because I have a group buy going on them for cheap. I've sold more of those than the Eibach kits, because of their stance. You really can't go wrong with either spring.

I have had the steeda ultralites on stock struts since may of 06 and the ride is no different than the day I picked the car up but it handles much better. I would say I have put almost 17k on this setup, I have 19k on the car total.

I picked up H&R sport springs. They maintain the factory rake, and are supposidly quite good. They are going in with bilsteins in a couple weeks.

If by rake you mean the jacked up rear end, then I'm out on the H&R for sure! I want to get as level as possible.

Factory rake means that it drops an even amount, so the same "slope" applies, only lower to the ground. If that makes sense?

I like the Steeda's because the back end drops an extra 1/4" to help level things out a tiny bit.

I have ultralite springs on the rear only. I liked the way it looked after doing only the rear springs. I'm not sure if or when I'll do the fronts. Right now the front springs are still in the box. The ride quality feels the same as stock. I got the appearance that I wanted, but the springs haven't delivered the performance feel that I wanted. Performance wise, I can't help but feel that I should have gone with the Steeda Sport springs instead.

Maybe I'll get a different feel if I go ahead the put the front springs on.

I still have the stock dampers, but I plan to replace them pretty soon with steeda dampers. The thing I hate most about the stock dampers is how frequent the tires lose contact with only a mildly uneven road surface (even with totally stock components).
