Edelbrock E-force on an 07 GT automatic

We have been selling and installing more and more Edelbrock E-force kits lately. They are a great supercharger for someone who is not looking to upgrade their shortblock, but get a good horsepower number out of the stock engine. This particular customer decided to get a smaller pulley for more boost and the cold air upgrade. We got 425 RWHP out of this one through an automatic.

Take a look at the pics.

I know several guys locally here with the E-Force (a couple are automatics and one is a manual). Everyone loves them and they're putting down good #'s for the cost.

Does the whole front end of car have to come off like that for install of s/c?

Yes, you do need to remove the front fascia and grill for installing the heat exchanger for the intercooler. But it is not a big deal and comes off very easy.

+1 on these being a great kit! I have no regrets with getting mine even long before they were "proven". I have grown bored of the base kit pulley and am upgrading to the 3.5 in. along with Gt500 pumps and CAI the end of next week

It's way easier to do than you might think. Not much holds on the front end.

I found a pic of the finished product. I really like the covers to the left and right of the S/C unit.

There was an episode of MuscleCar on PowerBlock where they did the Magnaflow Foose Mustang giveaway. They did an E-Force install and it looked so easy a caveman could do it.

We could always do a Vortech for your Mach and get 450+ RWHP.

I love the low Boost and great HP these Edelbrock produce. Do these make any whine ,like a Eaton?

I clicked on the link in your signature, went to superchargers, but no Edlebrock listed.........Also, seems that every website I look at offers the kit, but I can find no info on the upgraded pulleys or CAI. Where can I find info on ordering these parts?

These run very quiet and make very little noise/whine.

I really like most everything about the E-Force, but one think keeps bothering me every time I look at one: the tube from the air filter to the throttle body is too bulbous and shiny - it looks like a sheep's bladder or some other such internal organ. Really needs a different finish and/or texture to better match the factory stuff.

" A SHEEP'S BLADDER OR OTHER SUCH INTERNAL ORGAN! " Now that is some comparision.

I always try to be as descriptive as possible. But, don't you think I'm right on with this one?

Nice compact looking kit and ~425 rwhp is all I would want out of stock internals and a daily.

looks like a sheep's bladder
Need to pick an organ not made of transitional epithelium....bladder changes shape to accommodate changes in fluid volume. Sorry couldn't help myself.

I was just thinking the same thing looking at the finished product Is there any way around this? Can another air intake be used instead? Other than that I like the look of this supercharger the best.

You can run number of other CAIs like the Steeda/FRPP, but they would still use the same custom silicone tube/coupler between it and the throttle body. I have also seen the FRPP Bullitt style CAI hooked up to an E-force, but it did require a special coupler tube from JDM. Not sure what the deal is with these tubes from Edelbrock as they have a very weird finish and are hard to keep looking good.

For the stock airbox, you probably could just replace the Edelbrock supplied tube with a 60 degree 3.5inch alumnium intake tube elbow and just use some different silicone couplers at each end. I am doing something very different with mine and will be posting the results/details tomorrow when I get back from the dyno
