dynoed my 07
Took my 07 GT (5 speed) to the dynojet dyno today to see where I stood.
I have the Ford Racing (Borla) Axlebacks and the JLT CAI with a 93 perf tune form Doug.
The test conditions were approx 69 degrees, 22% humidity
The first pull produced 274.1 RWHP and 298.39 Torque.
Using Doug's canned tune the fuel/air ratio was a little lean.
Using the SCT tuner we adjusted the fuel/air mixture by adding 4% for pull two and another 2% plus adjusting the timing for pull 3.
The results were: Pull 2 - 278.57HP and 302.32 TQ
Run 3 - 280.23HP and 302.16 TQ
The runs were close together and the engine was not cooled to the same starting temp so I suspect if we had waited maybe a couple more HP would have shown up on the third pull. It was fun and the tuners validated that Doug's were some of the better they have seen for a canned tune sent through the mail. Probably about the best you can do without having a dyno and the individual car.
It was fun, I highly recommend doing this if you have the oppurtunity. It was also cool to see the speedo register 138 as I know I will never get it up that high on the road.
Oh and just for kicks they loaded the stock tune to try to get a baseline but the air/fuel was way to lean because of the CAI. Don't even think about driving your car with a CAI requiring a tune without one!!!

TriStar Automotive in Tyrone GA, they are a new facility, top notch guys.
Great shop started by three former Delta Air Lines mechanics, all great guys. I figure if I trust them to fix the planes I fly they can handle my car no problem.

If you can post graphs and numbers here:

I did mine this week also. What were your baseline numbers?
Dougs tunes are very good, but yours is the second one I've heard of that ran a little lean. That is the problem with a canned tune, every car is just a little different.

Good numbers sts767! I did the same thing recently and came away with 280hp and 311tq. It's definately fun to be at the dyno! Standing in the bay when your car is making a run will shake your bones!!

I paid $50 for what turned out to be 4 pulls and the tweaking of the tune with my SCT tuner. It was a great price, probably because I was in there Friday getting the panhard bar installed and getting an alignment and told the guys I would be bringing all three of my cars to them in the future.
As far as a base number goes I did not really get one because I have had my CAI on for a while and did not really care enough about the stock #'s to go through the trouble of changing back to the stock air box. I was mainly concerned with just tweaking the 93 perf tune.
