Dynoed 2007 Mustang GT
I took the GT to the Dyno here in Trussville Alabama to get some base numbers on the new car. Hoping to get in the area of 255 - 260 Rear Wheel Horsepower. Man were we surprised, here are the results from a car with 3300 miles on it and after having its first oil change. Also, no special gas, 87 octane from BP. This car is BONE STOCK:
1st Pull - 272.1 RWHP & 289.5 pounds of torque
2nd Pull - 277.8 RWHP & 290.7 pounds of torque
3rd Pull - 280.8 RWHP & 292.2 pounds of torque
If you have had your new car dynoed, I am interested in seeing if other 07s are putting down these numbers.
1st Pull - 272.1 RWHP & 289.5 pounds of torque
2nd Pull - 277.8 RWHP & 290.7 pounds of torque
3rd Pull - 280.8 RWHP & 292.2 pounds of torque

also dyno jet or mustang dyno? my bone stock '07 gt with a maunal trans put down 272/295. It was a free pull so didn't want to hog up time and make more pulls, gives me a baseline tho.

Those are some good numbers, I see in your signature you say something about a K&N is this on this car? Just let me know if you wanna make more

Sir, you will notice that this was done in Alabama, where a man's word is still his honor. No print out is needed, even though I am sitting here looking at it. The area of the country where you are from has problems with honesty but not here in Dixie.

Doug the K&N is in my "03 GT, I let you know what we decide to do with the '07. I am sure you will get to do something to it at sometime.

We would just like to know was it SAE or Uncorrected at a cold temperature.

What he means is, was the test data corrected to a standard day? That is the only meaningful way to compare any two dyno runs. Atmospheric conditions (ambient temperature and air density) vary all the time, hence the need to correct to a standard day.
Your numbers do look very good, but is the test data corrected to a standard day. You should not even have to ask you dyno man to do it.

I am almost positive that Blake always corrects to "Standard Day".
