Great numbers. Are the heads and cam available to the public yet. Any new sound clips?

Great #'s. I have two questions, how much for the heads and cam combo? How does the car drive now? Thanks Sean.

car drives awesome... the clutch was actaully the onlything that took away any of it's factory feel. Spec stage III clutch... it's a little tighter.

Very impressive for the mod list! I hope they have the previous issues worked out with the heads/cams getting destroyed. That car looks sick, My wife and I love that look. Those wheels are unique as well. All around, the best modded 05 I have ever seen.

Johnny...what happened to the 5.1 liter that you put in the car a few months back??? This is a quote from one of your posts, correct???
"yeah, and we are putting the complete 5.1L modular short block in it. Plus marking up the side exhaust. There are things that take priority... and pictures, are not at the top of that list... they will be posted when I get a chance.
sorry if that pisses anyone off, but I am trying to get my car running... that is my goal right now. Everyone obviously knows what it looks like... you've seen the kit that ronaele has on there car. It's our kit."

This isn't exactly about your car, though it is your mods that made me wonder about it. Firstly, those are awesome changes, and I am more impressed with them than just pasting on a blower (though maybe you could add that after, I dunno). Very nice.
My question is: it looks like there are two camshafts involved here. The V8 uses 2? I read around online, and it looks like it's an SOHC engine. So... I think the gist is that I don't know what I'm talking about, so if someone could explain how SOHC + 2 camshafts = ??? I would be very grateful. I haven't found any indepth articles on how our V8 engine works, and that is probably what I need. Thanks!

schmads,
Does this help...
1) SOHC on inline type engine (aka: single bank of cylinders, like inline 4 and 5 engines) = ONE camshaft for the engine.
2) DOHC on inline typ eengine (aka: single bank of cylinders) = TWO camshafts for the engine.
3) SOHC on V type engine (aka: two banks of cylinders, like V6, V8, V10 or V12 engines) = TWO camshafts for the engine, one per BANK.
4) DOHC on V type engine(aka: two banks of cylinders) = FOUR camshafts, two per BANK.

Using an Overhead Cam OHC configuration has the Cams on top of the cylinder head this reduces the amount of mass being pushed by the valve train allowing higher rpms but also causes the need to have multiple camshafts and also allowing multy valve configurations. Single OHC has two Camshafts one for each head and Dual OHC has four camshafts 2 for each head, and 4 or more valves per cylinder to help the engine breath more.

Thanks guys! That is very helpful and makes it all make way more sense.
And this guy's car is what I want my car to be one day... at least from a performance standpoint. Visually, I'm not going as far, but I love how it looks.

Those are great numbers. Will BBR be testing the lower hp cams on a dyno also. If I remember correctly, they are offering three grades of grind.
Thanks,
Paul

as of right now, there are only 2 stages that I know of, but I could be wrong.
the stage II are whats in this car.
the stage I is a milder cam.
and yes, it will have a dyno numbers as well.
