Well - if any of you read the "PCM crapped out" thread, you'll know that I had to replace the PCM on my car since it has been on its way out, and failed on me last week.

Anyway, I got the car back in time for the local dyno-day at Racers Edge Tuning (Downey, CA). Me and Greg (my tuner) were curious to see if the old PCM was the reason I didn't break 300hp when I got tuned this summer. Turns out we were right! The car picked up 7hp and 8tq just from ditching the GMS TB and throwing on the new PCM!

the burnout comming off the dyno looks scarry, I wondered who had a mess to clean up?

I wasn't there for the burnout off the dyno, but it was the owner's 1,000+hp Drag car. Apparently it broke a strap while getting tuned!

 

What burnout?
