About to take mine in. Don't reply if you paid a low price because you know joe $hit-kicker the mechanic.... I'm looking for actual rates. Then I have to take the highest one and multiply it by 2 to figure out what the rate of DC will be

$200 per hour for dyno time and tune adjustments. They said normal bolt on it should be only one hour work. For blowers and high cams and the sort plan on 2-1/2 at this time. They told me certain application will be lower price if they have work with the same combo ie inktake brand or blower setup. Crappy for me nobody has taken a saleen to them yet.
by the way $100 for three dyno pull with A/F
This is in the san fransico bay area CA
Apex motorsports to be exact.

I paid $90 for two pulls on a dynojet showing HP/Tq and A/F.
It took about an hour.
It was in the Chicago suburbs.

A guy here is just about to open up a dyno. He is charging $75 for 10 pulls. You can tune it yourself or have them tune it during those 10 pulls. It is a Mustang Dyno though, so the numbers will be a little lower than a dyno jet.

Here in Tampa, was quoted $225 - $350 for a custom Diablo dyno Tune. Mine took a little over an hour to do.

Huntsville, AL
3 pulls, no air/fuel = $50
3 pulls with air/fuel = $60
1 hour = $80
no tuners in the area, so you have to tune it yourself.

Nick,

I'm in your area and went to Maryland Performance Center in Gaithersburg. George Reggio is the owner and did my dyno tuning and installed all my mods. I highly recommend him. He ain't cheap, but he really knows his stuff.

He gets:

$475 for 1/2 day
$850 for whole day.

For that price he welded a bung into my exhaust (that sounds a little wierd, doesn't it! ), read the A/F ratio with a Bosch something or other and datalogged that whole ordeal. He'll make as many pulls as he needs and write all the SCT tunes you want and then load them on you hand held tuner. Since the tuner only holds 3 tunes at a time, you can get the rest on disk if you want. Most of us don't need more than 3 tunes anyway.

My car was strapped to his dyno for 4 days - Friday to Monday - and I paid for half a day. It was kinda cool watching all this happen and, IMO, worth the price of admission. I wouldn't want to do it every week though!

Thanks! Do you know if he is willing to work with the Predator tuner? I don't want to have to buy the SCT chip as well.

I'm not sure, but it can't hurt to ask. I know he has worked with Diablo in the past, not sure if he still does.

His # is 301-258-8883. Tell him Adam sent you. Hopefully he won't hang up!

J/K........George really knows his stuff and is an easy guy to talk to. Hope he can help.

Good Luck!

There's a place up here in central CT. $60 for three pulls ($50 for repeat customers) A/F $10 extra.

Thinking of taking a trip down there after I get my C&L and tunes installed.
