I ordered the same thing on Monday, but on Tues. I bit the bullet and bought the h pipe as well! Did you get a tracking # or anything else to confirm when you are going to get your stuff?

I just got my notification yesterday that my order is scheduled to arrive today...... you should get your notification too. If not, call or email Brenspeed.
Thanks,

I got my ups tracking # today. Should be here by the 22nd.
the intake/tuner combination, not the h pipe. The hpipe's will be here hopefully by the middle of Dec.

Turning off the O2 sensors will prevent a CEL light from occuring. You can do this through the Predator. Other than that it should be a straight forward bolt on.
It would be nice to see how much more Brent could squeez outta this with a custom tune though.
BTW what are these MIL eliminators you are talking about?

What I have found is some but not all 05/06 Mustangs are getting check engine lights from off road X pipes. If a light is present there are two ways to eliminate it. The first method would be to turn it off via a custom tune and at the same time you will get the extra power a custom tune has to offer. The second is by plugging in MIL eliminators ($61) which simply make the computer think you have cats on the car and only take about 1 minute to install. This week I am putting miles on a car with no MIL's and no tune to correct the check engine light to see if it comes on. The thing is lets say 50% of the cars get lights with an X or H pipe testing on 1 car with the H pipe does not really tell me anything if the light does not come on. So what I will do for the pre-order customers is MIL's are needed and they dont have our tune I will sell the MIL's for cost plus shipping if they buy them after they install the H pipe. This will be on pre-order sales only.
Sometime in the next two weeks I am going to try to write an article and put it up on the site about the 05/06 Mustang exhaust sounds and different mufflers options that are available. I dont really want to do this until I test about 3 more mufflers. Between the sound files I will have and first hand experience driving with them I should be able to give a fair description on the sound. But in the end explaining what exhaust sounds like is difficult. What I think sounds bad some customers love and vise versa.

Hi Brent,
Would one of the other 3 mufflers you want to test happen to be the Borla "S" type of the FFRP mufflers?? I have the Borla cat back system and the sound is loud and very mean sounding. I would love to go with your O/R H pipe but am wondering if it just might be to much without the cats. Got an opinion??

Looking forward to it Brent. Will you have a tune that will be able to get more out of the H-Pipe than the 8/10 stated earlier? If so, how much for the new tune?
Thanks for everything.

We had been contacted several times with requests to offer an off road H-pipe for the 05/06 GT. People had different reasons why they wanted an H-pipe. Some because of the sound issue with the X-pipe and others because of fit issues when you combine an X-pipe with
SNIP!

Brent, have you tested this with a Mac axleback exhaust by any chance? The unbelievable drone while cruising at speed in the 1800-2100rpm range has been well documented (although otherwise, an awesome sounding muffler) and reports are indicating the only combo that actually diminishes the drone is combining JBA shorties with Bassani catted xpipes. I'm kicking myself for even considering $800 worth of exhaust system to get rid of the drone (albeit even more of an awesome sound all around), so if reports of diminished drone with less expensive midpipes has me interested...

I have a non-catted H-pipe and Longtube headers. I had the MACS on and could not take it. Unbelievable drone and very loud. I have Flows on it now and I am thinking of selling those also(same reason). Not having cats gives you MUCH more of what ever you had before with exhaust sound. I tried the stock mufflers with no cats and they sound the best so far. Having the Longtubes magnifies the problem some I am sure.

Just not sure what midpipe to pick. The one in this thread seems interesting, but I'd like to hear from others first...
