Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with dynatech headers?
RPM Outlet has a really good price on these http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gtjbal.htm

I'm also considering Stainless works and kooks.

Any feed back regarding any of them would be helpfull. I think they are all going to net about the same gains

Accually They are cheaper then the other two, but not by much.

I called each manufacturer today and I'm kinda of leaning towards the Kooks now.

After reading MM & FF Sept. issue with the Kooks install i was sold. Looks like a nice set up.

Well that didn't hurt, it was a good write up on them. I just need to get over the sticker shock I guess
I think I'm going finish off the exhaust system with the hooker Areochamber's;
I love the sound of them. That should make up a good system.

I was looking at the Dynatech set also. And daydreaming ( can't quite afford ) the Kooks. But I think I have almost talked myself in to Hooker headers instead. Lethal Performance has them for $544 non coated or $685 coated. Both have O2 sensor bungs. Not like Hooker has a bad reputation with exhaust!

Hawgman,

I was looking at those as well. Do you know if they make a catted version of their x-pipe? Or would the JBA catted X bolt up to them? They look to be about the same length...

The JDM/Kooks headers are impressive. If I do long headers, those are the ones! I want to wait and see if anyone has any trouble with header clearances anywhere with the JDM/Kooks, or any other issues before I decide. They are a bit pricey, but fit all of my criteria. So... Somebody order up and do me some research.

I think the perfect setup would be the JDM/Kooks, with their high-flow catalytic mid-pipe, and stock (read: no-drone) mufflers.

Im planning on the kooks headers within a few weeks to a month. The write up was quite impressive, and so are the headers.
Bar none..we all know Kooks are the way to go, but they are pricey. After seeing them in person, I have to have them, they are a thing of beauty, and they make power

Well...since there are so many GP's going on. I would be willing to find out if I could make something happen on the JDM/Kooks LT's. I know from being there they sell like hot cakes...really.
Im scheduled to go back within a week or for some dyno time for the CAI. Its worth asking, and maybe save a few bucks as well.
I'll start a poll if there's interest. Just an idea while reading this thread.
