Thumbs up

I guess I need to know this, cause I am not really wanting to void the warranty right now on the car, being that it is a new body dtyle, etc. for 2005.....Thanks

Unless the problem is caused by the mod it doesnt void your warranty.

Better ask your dealer service mgr. and not people on here ponygirl. Because you know what, the dealer is the one that is going to either fight you or work with you. It is probably a good idea to find out first which its going to be, before you go in thinking it will be covered. Here is a sct tuner in regards to your other posting.

What did you use to look up this info? Are there any sct-tuners in Nashville?

The SCT website will have the location of their tuners. IMO, talking to the dealer is best since, as previously stated, they will make the call. Does not mean you couldn't legally fight them but if you have an engine problem and you have reflashed to a higher octane, etc, you may be on shaky ground.

What she was told was exactly correct. Installing a CAI is not going to void your warranty. Aftermarket mods will not void your warranty...PERIOD. IF the dealer can prove that a failure is directly related to an aftermarket part, they can deny a warranty claim for the failure in question. But that is as far as it can go. It is the law!
