Difference between Boom Tubes and SLP Loudmouths

Ok guys I am looking into ordered a MAC O/R Prochamber and I currently have SLP Loudmouths... I have seen a video or 2 on you tube on both set ups...

What kind of sound difference do you expect to see between the Boomtubes and the Loudmouths when adding the Prochamber? I know we are looking at very loud... But in the Boomtubes video at idle they did not seem to loud at all... but maybe it was just the video camera?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks... I am sure they will both be loud for sure... considering its straight through exhaust... Do the boom tubes offer any sort of advantage? Also does the prochamber offer any kind of sound reduction?

a member in our club has the boom tubes and off road lt bbks. i havent heard his car since that new set up, but every one says that it is really loud.

never heard either yet, but the slp's are just straight pipes whereas the boom tubes have vents all along the inside of the tube to quiet it down a bit... so yeah i would imagine the slps are a bit louder.

Soundwave is correct about the vents inside of the Boom tubes; I believe that they don't really make them any quieter, just takes away some of the raspiness. I just got my 'Tubes in and it's colder than my Ex's heart outside,so can't say how loud with a stocker H pipe.

I have heard a few videos but I know videos cannot do them justice... I am defiantly looking into the prochamber and I dont mind it loud when getting on it but just tryin to figure out exactly how loud while just cruising and such...

Boom Tubes have a louvered pipe while the Loud Mouths are straight pipes. My Pypes Violators use louvered pipes and they sound fantastic.
