Just to clarify, yes you can do that with the Diablo and have always been able to.
I thought I had read that the user could not make many adjustments on Diablo without the assistance of the tune shop. Sorry if I was wrong.

Edit added: Yep I was wrong. I wonder where I got the misinformation. Next time I'll keep my mouth shut until completely researched.

I'm just waiting for Doug to email me some more information so i can purchase one.

Doug is currently in Beaumont for hurricane relief work.......he's worth waiting for though!

I have a similar question, but with a twist. If you knew you were going to buy a JLT intake and an SCT 2 tuner, would you buy the SCT turner from Jay at JLT, or from Doug at Bamachips?

Just wondering if given that Jay created the intake, whether he might have the edge with dialing in the tunes that come on his SCT 2 package. Then again, seems a lot of favorable praise for Bamachips too. Perhaps it doesn't matter much?

Maybe the people with a JLT CAI and an SCT can pipe up. Any advice on choosing between these two options?

Thanks.

I was in the same situation as you. There is a local Diablo tuner, but the closest SCT tuner was an hour away. I still went with the SCT because it seems there is more support and better words about it than the Diablo. And more options for making tweaks yourself, if you feel so inclined. I am more familar with Diablo, that is why I was torn. But with the overwhelming bias leaning toward SCT, I went that way. I also got the C&L, package deal, from BrenSpeed. I emailed, just to ask "picking the brain" questions, and Brent was awesome in answering! He also recommended the C&L with SCT. He ultimately made up my mind for me. That is what he has in his car, so that proves enough for me.

The tune and CAI is awesome! I am happy I made the decision I did, no regets whatsoever! Hope that helps...
