which tuner is the better one to go with?

SCT!!! While the Diablosport tuner itself is a very good unit the software that people must use to write tunes for it is absolutely HORRIBLE.
The user interface could best be described as "openly hostile". This is why tunes written for the Diablsport product are often more expensive because writing tunes for DS is much more difficult and time consuming.

 

Diablo it is easy to datalog also, if that interests you.

 

If you have a local tuner, buy whatever tuner they prefer so you can get local support.

If you don't have a local tuner around, go with Brenspeed or Bamachips- both of which sell SCT products except I think Bama does sell both SCT and Diablo.
