Electirc water pump and ud pulleys

I'm thinking about buying an electric water pump. I think I already know the answer, but I'm just curious if there is any benefit using the crank pulley from an ud pulley kit or would it be wasted money.

Thanks

I'm sure there would be a benefit! BrenSpeed actually offers a kit with the eH2O pump + crank UDP only. I don't recall there being much of a price break, but none the less a good plan. You will still reduce the loss used to spin up the pwr steering pump, alt., and a/c.

I have been running this setup for over 1 1/2 yrs. on my daily driver vert with no issues at all. And yes... you can feel the difference!!

This setup made me replace my alternator twice, every 20k miles. Be careful!

That's interesting, what's the cause? Bad alternators?
