Thinking of my next big Mod. I'm looking at Cowl Hoods. What is a good name brand? What were your thoughts on getting one (ie 2.5" or 4"). Was it a good fit or did you have a lot of work to do on it? Shipping?? Anybody know of a supplier around Northern Indiana were I could just pick one up? Thinking of trying to paint my own vs a body shop.
Show me some pictures and make my mind up for me.

 

Steeda Cowl on mine. Fit and Finish is near perfect, shipping sucks!

 

The Steeda is going on mine here soon. Picked it up already painted for 300 bucks. Slightly used, but in great shape, cant beat the price.

Its a 2.5" heres a few comparison pics.
The vert has the hood, mine in the middle is stock.

 

For a cowl, I would do either Steeda or Cervinis.

Brenspeed can probably get you a Steeda; the Cervinis you'd have to order direct from them (unless you drive to the east coast). www.cervinis.com

Steeda Street cowl here as well. I love it, hood was in exceptional condition according to the shop that painted it.

 

I would just be worried about that hood being the lightest hood for these cars. I can picture it floppin in the wind like tin foil, lol.
It has an extra cowl vent and lighter I "think" are the only differences between the regular and the race

I have the Steeda and think that it is awesome! But if I had it to do over agian I would get the Cervinis Hood. Hireman has one nad I like it better.

 

the new cervini 2.5" is awesome. plus its not completely open like the steeda hood. the hood is my next mod as well.
